Towards Verona: Strategies and Pathways for Business Recovery

The third edition of the ANF Verona conference is set to begin from April 17 to 18.

Gobid Group confirms its presence at the heart of the legal and economic debate by participating as a sponsor in the 3rd edition of the conference “The Recovery of Businesses in Crisis: Choosing the Right Path and the Practical Challenges.” The event, hosted in the prestigious setting of the Teatrino di Palazzo Maffei in Verona, in Piazza delle Erbe, on April 17 and 18, 2026, represents an important benchmark for professionals in the sector. The conference is organized by ANF Verona – the National Bar Association, with the patronage of the Notarial Council of Verona, the Verona Bar Association, and the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Verona.

Business crisis law is going through a phase of profound evolution, in which the choice of the recovery path is no longer merely a procedural matter, but a strategic decision requiring a balance between asset protection, business continuity, and creditor protection. The Verona conference was created to explore these complexities, analyzing the effectiveness of the new negotiated instruments and the responsibilities of the parties involved in an increasingly demanding market.

Strategies and Instruments of the Crisis Code:
the day of April 17

The first day will open with institutional greetings from the highest local authorities, including Dr. Ernesto D’Amico (President of the Court of Verona), Dr. Monica Attanasio (President of the Insolvency Proceedings Section of the Court of Verona), and representatives of the professional bodies of lawyers, accountants, and notaries.

First Session: Recovery Paths and Negotiated Solutions

Under the coordination of Dr. Monica Attanasio, the proceedings will get to the heart of the matter by analyzing the variables of recovery paths with Prof. Lawyer Antonio Rossi and Dr. Laura De Simone. This will be followed by a technical in-depth session led by Dr. Giovanni Nardecchia, Lawyer Antonio Pezzano, and Dr. Sergio Rossetti:

Simplified and Preventive Composition with Creditors: analysis of resolved issues and matters still open.
Restructuring Agreements and PRO: focus on the effectiveness of these instruments in light of practical experience.
Prominent speakers: Dr. Giovanni Nardecchia (Court of Cassation), Lawyer Antonio Pezzano, and Dr. Sergio Rossetti.

Second Session: Protections and Over-Indebtedness

In the afternoon, under the coordination of Lawyer Carlo Trentini, the focus will shift to highly topical procedural issues:

Protective and Precautionary Measures: contributions by Prof. Lawyer Ilaria Pagni and Dr. Lucia De Bernardin.
Tax Settlements: analysis by Dr. Giulio Andreani and Dr. Alessandro Farolfi.
Management of Over-Indebtedness: an in-depth look at the consumer plan and minor composition with creditors with Lawyer Astorre Mancini and Dr. Antonella Rimondini.

Governance, Liability, and Credit:
the focus of April 18

The Saturday morning session, introduced by Lawyer Sara Salaorni and coordinated by Dr. Pier Paolo Lanni, will address the pillars of prevention and judicial management:

Adequate Organizational Structures: Dr. Alberto Guiotto and Prof. Dr. Francesco Capalbo will analyze the importance of organizational, administrative, and accounting structures.
Liability Actions: a focus on the assessment of damages in insolvency proceedings with Dr. Lisa Torresan and Dr. Guido Romano.
Credit and Guarantees: the final part of the proceedings will be devoted to credit guaranteed by SACE/MCC and the unlawful granting of credit, with contributions by judges Salvo Leuzzi and Carlo Bianconi.
