A conference is scheduled for October 13 and 14 at the “G.Fuà” Faculty of Economics of the Polytechnic University of Marche, hosting the IX National Conference of the Observatory on Corporate Crisis. Gobid Group is the official sponsor of the event.
July 15, 2022, marked the enforcement of the Crisis Code, which was introduced over a year ago (July 15, 2022), following the last legislative adjustments caused by the incorporation of the Restructuring Directive (EU Directive 2019/1023 of June 20, 2019). The focus has shifted to new provisions regarding crisis regulation tools, both familiar (like preventive agreements and ADR) and new (like the restructuring plan subject to validation). The proposed new Directive (known as Insolvency) aims to introduce harmonized rules in insolvency regulation and is part of the debate on new laws and initial legal applications. The impact of the directive, once approved, could be “disruptive” to the newly reformed, long-elaborated, and frequently revised internal bankruptcy law. On October 13 and 14, 2023, in Ancona, the theme of bankruptcy liquidations will be addressed. After an introduction on the novelties of the Insolvency Directive, the first session of the conference will tackle pre-bankruptcy and agreement-based sales, while the second day will focus on judicial liquidation and controlled liquidation processes.
