New Scenarios for Insolvency Proceedings: Gobid Group Alongside S.I.S.CO. for a New Afternoon of Study

Today, Wednesday, July 2nd, we will be in Milan for a new event dedicated to professional development and dialogue among experts, continuing a shared journey that has seen us at the side of S.I.S.CO – the Italian Society for Insolvency Studies – for several years now. Our participation in this new afternoon of study is yet another confirmation of our commitment to supporting the legal culture surrounding corporate crisis management. The event will begin at 5:00 PM at the Colucci Hall of the Milan Union of Merchants on Corso Venezia.

Today’s event is part of the calendar of scientific activities promoted by S.I.S.CO., an association that has always been focused on training and continuous education for professionals in the field. Since its founding in 1997, the association has become a national point of reference for dialogue among the judiciary, academia, and independent professionals.

This year too, Gobid Group has taken part in the main events organized by S.I.S.CO., such as the study days held from February to the end of March, dedicated to key topics at the heart of current debate: the Business Crisis Code, negotiated settlements, simplified and preventive arrangements with creditors, as well as restructuring plans and controlled liquidation. Today, with this afternoon of study, we enthusiastically renew our contribution to the dissemination of content and tools for a conscious approach to corporate crisis management.

From New Duties of Management Bodies to Innovations in Insolvency Proceedings

A highly focused program built around the most current issues in corporate crisis management. Today’s afternoon of study, organized by S.I.S.CO., will feature prominent speakers from the Italian legal landscape, who will guide discussions on highly topical subjects for professionals involved in insolvency proceedings.

The event will begin at 5:00 PM with an in-depth analysis of the new duties and responsibilities of management and supervisory bodies towards creditors and shareholders. Topics will include liability issues in the context of both arrangement and judicial liquidation proceedings, with a practical focus on how to prevent or properly structure potential liability actions.

Next, attention will turn to the legislative and jurisprudential developments that are redefining the scope of insolvency procedures, particularly in light of the evolution of the Business Crisis Code and recent rulings in the area of bankruptcy law.

Speakers:

  • Dr. Alida Paluchowski, former President of the Bankruptcy Section of the Court of Milan, will address the dynamics of duties and responsibilities within insolvency proceedings;
  • Lawyer Edoardo Staunovo Polacco, member of the Milan Bar, will provide a detailed interpretation of recent legislative and jurisprudential developments.

The discussion will be coordinated by Prof. Lawyer Angelo Castagnola, President of S.I.S.CO., who will lead the debate with a multidisciplinary approach, fostering dialogue between practice and theory.

To conclude the afternoon of study, at 7:30 PM, a cocktail will be held in the charming Veranda-Garden of Palazzo Castiglioni. A valuable moment to delve deeper into the themes discussed during the event, stimulate conversation, strengthen existing relationships, and create new ones.

Training, Networking, and Dialogue: Our Shared Mission

Being present at events like this means actively contributing to one of the fundamental pillars of our sector: the continuous professional development of those involved in insolvency proceedings. Long-standing collaborations, such as the one with S.I.S.CO., enable us to support high-level training programs and create opportunities for discussion on increasingly complex and critical issues.

We believe in the power of professional networking as a driver of innovation and operational quality. That’s why moments like today’s closing cocktail are not just convivial gatherings, but genuine opportunities to strengthen relationships, share experiences, and build new synergies.

An occasion where expertise meets connection – for collective growth that is solid and future-oriented.
