Padova Agorà 2025: Strategies and Responsibilities in Corporate Crisis. The XI Edition of the ODCEC Conference

Two prestigious venues – the Caffè Pedrocchi, a symbol of Padua’s cultural heart, and Villa Borromeo in Sarmeola di Rubano – will host the eleventh edition of Padova Agorà on November 6th and 7th. This National Conference, titled “Corporate Crisis and Crisis in the Company – Strategies, Governance, Responsibilities,” is organized by the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Padua. Gobid Group will once again participate in this edition as the main sponsor.

This well-established event in the Italian professional training landscape stands out for the quality of its presentations and the presence of high-profile legal, academic, and institutional figures.

At the core of the conference is a high-level interdisciplinary discussion on the most current issues related to corporate crisis management and prevention, in an ever-evolving economic and regulatory context. For Gobid Group, participating in this important educational event once again represents a valuable opportunity for discussion and professional development with the economic-legal sector.

Finance and Strategies to Face the Crisis

The first day, Thursday, November 6th, hosted at Caffè Pedrocchi, will open with institutional greetings from the President of ODCEC Padua, Chiara Marchetto, and the President of the Court of Padua, Caterina Santinello. This will be followed by the opening session dedicated to finance in corporate crisis.

This discussion will feature representatives from the banking and financial sectors – including Cherry Bank, Generalfinance, DeA Capital, SACE, Invitalia, Banca Finint, and Monte dei Paschi – who will analyze strategies and tools to support struggling businesses. The session will be moderated by Massimo Zappalà, a lawyer in Treviso and lecturer at the University of Padua.

The day will conclude with a cocktail dinner at Villa Borromeo, offering a networking moment for professionals – ideal for sharing experiences and engaging in dialogue on highly relevant topics.

The second session, dedicated to corporate crisis settlement tools, will be moderated by Stefania Pacchi, Full Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Siena and lawyer in Florence. Speakers will include Massimo Fabiani, Pier Paolo Lanni, and Giulio Andreani, who will delve into new perspectives on extended-effect restructuring agreements, simplified arrangements with creditors, and the handling of tax and social security debts.

In the afternoon, the third session – moderated by Enrico Grigolin, Vice President of ODCEC Padua – will address the topic of business transfers during crisis, focusing on valuation, tax, and labor law aspects. Contributions from Fabio Buttignon, Francesco Natalini, and Elena Vaudano will offer an integrated analysis combining economic, legal, and labor expertise, providing professionals with tools to manage business transfers consciously and effectively.

The final session, titled “Responsibility and Professionals,” will explore civil and criminal liability profiles related to consultancy in crisis management.
